By car

From São Paulo: Through Rodovia Fernão Dias there are 3 possible options, depending on the weather conditions. See map.

By bus, leaving from Rodoviária Tietê in São Paulo

• Take the bus Viação Cambuí heading to the city of Extrema, MG. Arriving there, get off at the bus terminal and take a taxi to the Taikanji Temple. It takes 15 km.

Or

• Take the bus Auto Viação Bragança heading to the city of Bragança Pta. Arriving there, get off at the bus terminal and take the bus heading to the city of Toledo, MG, through Bairro das Pitangueiras. Get off at Pitangueiras do Meio 1 km after the end of the asphalt in front of a sign indicating the temple. Walk the last 3.5 km.

By airplane
Either at Cumbica or Congonhas airport, take a bus to Rodoviária Tietê and take the bus from there.
